NJPL Information

About
The North Jersey Poker League is a private, non-profit club, not a public card room. Only registered league members will be allowed to participate in any of our events.
The North Jersey Poker League started in January 2004, New Years Day, by a group of high-school friends in a nickel-dime ring game format. It wasn't long before a tournament style was adopted and Texas Hold'em became the game of choice. Play in any NJPL tournament is by invitation only; no walk-ins are permitted.
Games are regularly held every Thursday night at 8 PM. Buy-ins are typically twenty units with up to 30 players and an aggressive blind structure. Payouts are friendly and typically pay 4 places. Visit the Upcoming Events page for a schedule.
Every quarter a new cycle starts allowing anyone to achieve top ranks. Cumulative statistics are also recorded.
